blueberry themed gift ideas

Share the love.

I love themed gifts, and I have some great blueberry themed gift ideas for you!

Themed gifts are fun and flexible.

Themed gifts are easy to plan ahead. I can gather items as I find them, and then have several on hand when a need arises. It’s also a great way to support small businesses–most of the items I’ve found in small shops on etsy. Get ideas by typing the theme you want to use for the gift into the etsy search bar.

If you’re shopping on a budget (aren’t we all?), you can put together a few small gifts for a big impact. Your theme ties everything together and shows how much thought you’ve put into the gift. Control the amount you spend by limiting the number of items. Including homemade treats is a meaningful and cost-effective gesture.

There are so many wonderful ways to use a blueberry theme for a gift!

Blueberry themed gift ideas:

  • blueberry scented candles: You should be able to find these easily at Target or a similar store. Etsy has some really special dessert candles that are festive. Offerings change often, but here are a few I found.
  • blueberry soaps or bath products: At the time of this writing, the only blueberry-scented product available on the Bath and Body Works website is a handsoap. Their offerings change often, so keep checking. Check etsy or Target for other blueberry lotions or bath products.
  • blueberry products from Printed Water: This is one of my favorite shops! Alicia is a talented artist, and she has a line of products featuring her blueberry watercolor design. I’ve made several purchases from her shop (she also has an etsy shop with the same name). Everything has been of exceptional quality, and she provides top-notch service. Her kitchen towels, notepads, and notecards are especially lovely.
  • blueberry mug: I didn’t find quite what I was looking for on etsy, but I know they’re out there. Keep this idea in your back pocket in case you come across something you like.
  • blueberry jewelry: I found a few possibilities on etsy.

Edible blueberry themed gift ideas:

  • blueberry tea: You can probably find blueberry tea locally, but if your store doesn’t have a great selection then you can count on Amazon. I found this blueberry tea in a brand I know is good quality.
  • blueberry preserves or syrup: It would be ideal to make this yourself, but it’s readily available in any grocery store or farmers’ market. Consider this blueberry syrup recipe from Fluxing Well.
  • blueberry-infused vinegar: Try this blueberry balsamic. I found several other options for a blueberry balsamic vinegar online, including one on Amazon.
  • dried or chocolate-covered blueberries: I’ve found these in my grocery store many times.
  • blueberry cookies: These look amazing!
  • blueberry muffins or bread
  • blueberry biscotti: I adapted this cranberry-pistachio biscotti recipe by replacing the dried cranberries with dried blueberries and the pistachios with almonds. It’s especially nice to include something like biscotti if your gift also includes tea or a mug.
  • blueberry pie, crisp, or cheesecake
  • blueberry scones: These also go well with tea.
  • blueberry fudge: My favorite etsy fudge shop is Farmhouse Fudge. Their options change, but check there to see what’s available. I won’t mention how many times I’ve ordered from them because it’s embarrassing. I found a few options for blueberry treats from various etsy sellers.
  • a basket of fresh blueberries

Edible gifts are an opportunity to include something homemade. It’s a nice (and affordable) personal touch. If that’s not your thing, there are also plenty of store-bought options listed above. If you decide to bake something, consider including the recipe. This is especially nice for recipients who have food allergies or sensitivities.

I prefer to put my money on the gift itself rather than the wrapping.

I always keep on hand brown craft-paper bags, white tissue paper, and white ribbon. These are very affordable and work for any occasion. If you can have the container be part of the gift, even better! For a blueberry themed gift, you could use a pottery berry bowl.

Here’s a fun (& free!) blueberry themed gift tag:

The image is a gift tag with a cluster of blueberries with greenery in the background and the title "you're the berry best" in the foreground.

Download the tag here. Use white card stock, cut out the card, punch a hole on one end, and loop a ribbon through it. Write a personal note on the back.

I recently gave a blueberry themed gift for a special friend’s birthday.

I included blueberry tea, preserves, a candle, a notepad, a set of notecards, and homemade blueberry-almond biscotti.

A collage of two photos: on the left is a grouping featuring tea, preserves, a candle, a notepad, a set of notecards, and a bag of blueberry-almond biscott. On the right is the finished gift in a brown paper craft bag with white tissue paper and white ribbon.

Future posts will feature other themed gift ideas. Let me know what you create!

  1. Love these blueberry-themed ideas! The blueberry cookie recipe looks especially good. I had never thought about ordering fudge from Etsy. I’ll have to see what’s available. Thank you for all of the blueberry-themed ideas!
