I love themed gifts, and I have some terrific succulent themed gift ideas for you! I’ve shared previously some ideas for blueberry themed gifts, home state themed gifts, and cocoa themed gifts. This post is all about succulent themed gifts. Succulents are adorable, and there are so many fun ways to incorporate them into a gift. Such a gift would work well for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarming parties, hostess gifts, and thinking-of-you gifts.
Let’s explore some succulent themed gift ideas!

Note: In the following sections, I’ve linked to search results in a few places to give you specific examples. You may have to scroll down a bit to see the relevant results. I thought this would be better than linking to individual items, because it’s not unusual for things to go out of stock.
Include some succulents in the gift.
The first idea is the most obvious–including some succulents in the gift. They are low-maintenance and easy for even the plant-challenged. 🙂 I’ve managed to keep several of them alive for a long time, a ringing endorsement! You can find individual plants or lovely succulent gardens. I found a wonderful assortment on etsy, but they’re also available on Amazon. Of course, you could find them at your local garden center as well.
If you hesitate to get a live plant for some reason, you can always include artificial ones. They’re very realistic and make a wonderful desk accessory. I even found some beautiful handmade glass succulents and crocheted succulents.
Succulent candles are a nice addition.
You might also consider succulent candles. I am amazed by the variety! There are individual succulent candles, as well as miniature tea lights and larger succulent-garden candles featuring clusters of different types of succulents.
Look for household items featuring succulents.
I found some lovely towels and mugs. (Some are a bit snarky!) There are also numerous options for artwork, paper goods, and T shirts. One of my favorite etsy shops, Amanda Klein Co, has some beautiful items. Her shop always mails items quickly; she provides the best customer service.
An easy option: pre-made gift boxes
There are several etsy sellers who have done the planning and packaging for you. You can find some great gift box options in different price ranges. Another of my favorite etsy shops, Sweet Basil Co, has gorgeous gift boxes, many of which feature succulents.
Ideas for packaging the gift
You could spend a little extra money on succulent gift bags or wrapping paper, but a brown craft paper bag with tissue paper and a succulent gift tag would work just as well. If you’re interested, feel free to print and use this gift tag:
What do you think of these succulent themed gift ideas?
What I especially like about themed gifts is that you can customize them for the recipient. Just a couple of items works for a smaller gift, and you can add to it as needed (and as your budget allows) when a larger gift is in order. Having the related items together shows that you put thought into it. Do you have other ideas?
